Bien Nacido is a well known and coveted Vineyard, known for having a combination of both rocky
soils and a cool coastal climate. Its proximity to the Pacific Ocean sets it apart, and influences the fruit
in its own way. Curtis Vineyard, located in the Santa Ynez Valley, has a unique and intriguing
microclimate as well. Located on a mountain range running East to West, cool and damp winds travel the
length of the valley. The unique Mountain Ranges and ancient seabed soils of Curtis Vineyards, paired
with the rocky and coastal terrain of Bien Nacido Vineyards, produces a truly enjoyable and full bodied
red.
