Andre Minassian - General Manager / Assist. Winemaker
Andre Minassian, a Californian native born in 1989, epitomizes a blend of cultural richness and entrepreneurial spirit. Raised in the San Fernando Valley, Andre's upbringing was infused with the influences of his Armenian and Portuguese heritage, fostering a deep appreciation for connection and exploration. While pursuing his education, Andre embarked on a transformative journey abroad, studying in Portugal at the Universidad Fernando Pessoa-Canarias in 2014. It was here that his love affair with wine blossomed amidst the picturesque charm of Porto. Indulging in the rich tapestry of Portuguese wines, from the robust flavors of Port to the crisp elegance of Vinho Verde, Andre honed his palate and absorbed knowledge from local wineries. These experiences not only deepened his appreciation for wine but also instilled in him a profound understanding of the power of connection and community—a sentiment that continues to guide his journey at Dilecta Wines in Paso Robles, California.
